Driving the lead in Road Safety.

In collaboration with ComfortDelGro Driving Centre, each new Toyota passenger car purchased from 18 October 2018 will be entitled to a complimentary half-day Drive Safe Course.

 

In partnership with ComfortDelGro Driving Centre, each new Toyota passenger car purchase made from 18 October 2018 onwards will be entitled to a complimentary half-day Drive Safe Course, redeemable from 1st January 2019 onwards. This is part of Toyota’s Start Your Impossible initiative in making Singapore roads a safer environment. We are committed to driving the lead in road safety in Singapore and would like all Toyota owners to join us on this journey!

Existing Toyota passenger car owners who have purchased their vehicle through Borneo Motors (Singapore) can either redeem the course using points from the Toyota Me customer loyalty programme or purchase the course (worth $250) at a discounted rate with a Toyota Me membership.

The Drive Safe Course is conducted by ComfortDelGro Driving Centre and will have both theory and practical elements, aimed at helping drivers hone driving skills and improve their handling of road situations.

PROGRAMME DETAILS
Theoretical  Training - Enhancing Our Understanding of Road Handling	How road accidents happen?  Common causes of road accidents and their consequences. The main cause of driving errors - Decision-Making - affected by driver’s physical and mental conditions. Other key contributing factors that affect driving - environment and vehicle's condition.
Practical Training - Improving Our Road Handling Using Driver                              Development Tool	Action-Oriented Learning - Participants will each be allocated up to 40 minutes of practical driving along a designated route.  Trainer will provide individual coaching to the participant. Experiential Learning - Participants will have a chance to observe and learn from other participants' driving.   Technology-Assisted Learning -  Participants will be given the diagnostics of their driving using the Driver Development Tool.

What is this Drive Safe Course about?

I just bought my new car from Toyota. How can I redeem this course?

Upon delivery of your new car, you will receive a letter containing the details of your complimentary course at ComfortDelGro Driving Centre (CDC). The course is redeemable from 1st January 2019 onwards. Details on the redemption procedures will be shared nearer to date.

I am an existing Toyota customer. Am I entitled to this complimentary course?

For existing Toyota owners who have purchased their vehicle through Borneo Motors (Singapore), the Drive Safe Course (worth $250, excluding prevailing GST) can either be redeemed using points from the Toyota Me customer loyalty programme or purchased at a discounted rate with a Toyota Me membership. What do I need to bring to attend the course?

You will need to bring along your redemption voucher as well as your driving license for verification purposes. Details on redemption procedures will be shared nearer to date.

What is the duration of this Drive Safe Course?

This is a half day course that will start from either 8:30am to 12:00pm or 12.45pm to 4:15pm.

Where can I book this course?

You can book this course on ComfortDelGro Driving Centre’s website, https://www.cdc.com.sg/drivesafe-bms/, which will be available from 3 December 2018 onwards.

How many days in advance do I need to book this course?

The course slots are open for booking for a period of 4 (four) to 6 (six) weeks on ComfortDelGro Driving Centre’s website.

What is the validity period of this course?

The course is valid for booking over a period of 6 (six) months from the date of car delivery or 1st January 2019, whichever later. Strictly no extensions will be allowed.

What is the cancellation policy for the course?

Cancellation must be made at least 7 (seven) calendar days (not inclusive of Public Holidays) in advance of the reserved session. Any cancellations within 7 (seven) calendar days will result in the course being forfeited.

Is the complimentary Drive Safe Course only entitled to the Toyota vehicle owner or can it be passed on to family members/friends?

It can be passed on to 1 (one) immediate family member. Do note that this is a one-time transfer and it is non-exchangeable, non-refundable and irreversible. Verification of vehicle registration number will be required upon enrolment and attendance registration.

Is the course exchangeable for other benefits/items?

The complimentary course is not exchangeable for cash, benefits or items in any value or in kind.
